The University has featured in five categories across the StudentCrowd University Awards 2024. This includes a top 10 ranking - #10 Best Universities for Personal Tutor. The University also featured in the top 20 for four other award categories.

Now in their ninth year, the StudentCrowd awards are based solely on student reviews.

One student who rated their experience at Bangor highly said:

“Bangor University offers excellent campus facilities for studying and leisure time, my personal favourite has to be the library in the old mains arts building! There is also a huge selection of clubs and societies to join for students to make new friends who share the same hobbies and interests as them. The Careers Service was also a great help for me, extremely helpful for students who are looking to explore their career options!”

Rankings were given based on the average review score over a 24-month period from June 2022 to June 2024, with a total of 31,564 university reviews assessed during that period.

Professor Oliver Turnbull, Deputy Vice-Chancellor, welcomed the results saying, "We’re delighted to see Bangor featured in the top 20 of a number of categories for this year’s Awards. These reviews provide a valuable insight into the exceptional work being carried out across our campuses.”
