Welcome to the Herpetological Society!
We are a society open to anyone interested in the branch of reptiles and amphibians. We host talks throughout the year from a variety of guest speakers covering topics ranging from taxonomy and genetics to conservation and husbandry. We put handling events on, where you will get a chance to see, and maybe handle, some lizards, frogs, geckos and snakes... if you dare.
Alongside the various talks we have, we also run a lot of trips. Whether that be to a local field site to try and find our native species, to a museum to learn about reptile and amphibian history OR travelling abroad to try and find some more exotic species.
We're looking forward to seeing your friendly faces:)
