Established in 1991, Bangor University Mountain Walking Club (UMWC) has had the privilege of introducing thousands of young people to the fantastic world of mountaineering.

Our aim is to make the great outdoors more accessible, encourage safe and well informed behavior, and inspire others to pursue activities in the mountains not just here in Wales, but the world over.
