The Cymric Girls' Football team is a social team, practising weekly for the Irish Intercollegiate and Varsity competitions. However, Anest Wyn and Fflur Williams (captain and vice-captain) are keen to look at how to develop a team to be more competitive by organising matches against local teams.
We are a team that practices, plays and socialises entirely through the medium of Welsh and therefore gives the university's Welsh speaking students the opportunity to participate in sport in their first language.
Come along and join us for a chance to socialise with a good group of girls, no matter if you are playing to a high standard, or new to the world of football!
