We welcome players of any caliber, be they experienced in the game, or completely new. Our captain Mabon, with vice captains Osian and Huw, are committed to maintaining the same standard of team as last year, and with the help of some of the most experienced members of the team with different qualifications to assist, sure we can make sure you develop as a good player, in a safe and meaningful way.
We are a team that practices, plays and socializes entirely through the medium of Welsh and therefore gives the university's Welsh speaking students the opportunity to participate in sport in their first language.
After matches against Aberystwyth, Swansea and Cardiff teams last year, the team is eager to return to the field once the restrictions have lifted. Until then, you can expect fun training sessions and games within the team, leading up to the first game back.
The team has already signed up for the Heart of Wales 7-a-side Rugby competition in July 2021, which again provides the opportunity to socialize and have fun whilst playing rugby, and anyone is welcome to attend the tour.
