Welcome to Bangor University Sub Aqua Club (BUSAC)!!

 

 

We would like to invite you to join the best (and only) scuba diving society here at Bangor. Whether you’re a professional, a complete beginner, or anything in between, you’ll be welcomed in and be able to continue your diving journey with us!! With multiple professionals on the team, there’s plenty of opportunity to better your skills and learn more about the diving world: through courses, fun dives, and many many socials. 

 

For those that wish to be part of the dive community but not yet ready to commit to courses – there’s plenty of ways to get involved. As divers we have a great love for the environment and we want to do our part through frequent beach cleans and charity events, which everyone (diver or not) is invited to take part in. 

 

No gear? No problem! 

We provide both transport and gear for all our dives so just sign up and we deal with the rest :) The only costs to you are the courses themselves, which, once completed, will last a lifetime!! Your PADI qualification will allow you to dive nearly anywhere in the world so it’s really an amazing opportunity.

 

North Wales poses lots of opportunities for exploring the underwater world and we hope that you’ll come for some amazing cold-water diving!! As well as countless local dives throughout the year, we plan to take you on a Winter trip to Scotland, where we’ll hopefully spot some basking sharks, and a summer trip abroad so we can all experience some warm waters. 

 

 

Come down to Castle on a Wednesday night for our themed social nights and meet some pretty cool people!! If drinking socials aren’t for you, don’t worry, keep an eye out for our sober social announcements for some chill activities and good vibes.
