The Cymric Men's Football team has developed a lot over the last two years. After a very successful year last year, with the team competing against other Welsh universities, and local teams, captain Sion Emlyn and vice-captain Cai Huws are keen to see the team rise from strength to strength. strength!
We are a team that practices, plays and socialises entirely through the medium of Welsh and therefore gives the university's Welsh speaking students the opportunity to participate in sport in their first language.
Once the restrictions are lifted we will look to organise more matches against local North Wales teams, as well as matches against Welsh Union Unions teams such as Cardiff GymGym and the Celtic in Aberystwyth.
