Volunteer with the RSPB

The RSPB Volunteering Project is all about giving volunteers skills and experiences in the environmental & wildlife conservation sector that will enhance employability and help break down the barriers to employment.
Some of the activities you can expect include: habitat surveys, wildlife surveys, camera trap analysis, scrub clearance, breeding bird surveys and much more. The skills you can expect to gain include: invertebrate surveying, habitat identification, data recording, species ID (invertebrates, birds, mammals, reptiles, amphibians and plants), tool maintenance and management, map reading, submitting data, arcGIS/Field map recording and many, many more.
We will be working on many different projects within the RSPB organisation, where you will meet many different people working in different sectors who can provide specialist insights and become valuable contacts. These projects are working to protect some our endangered species here in North Wales including: curlew, choughs, black grouse, adders, bees, bats, butterflies and many more species.
